From our American partner fast friends 
It’s finally happening–the dogs are coming home! Two more groups have joined Fast Friends and Greyhound Friends of NJ, Inc. to bring the rescued meat trade dogs at Candy Cane Rescue in China to the US and on to their forever homes. That makes five groups working together to bring a group of 20 dogs all the way from Beijing to New York! We hope to have the flight scheduled for the very end of December or first part of January, and we look forward to introducing you to the dogs and sharing more travel details as we firm everything up. The Paws Around the World Auction in August went a long way to covering the costs of the eight dogs coming to Fast Friends and Greyhound Friends, but costs have gone up substantially since the COVID travel restrictions.
