Message from Kerry!
This time last year I travelled to China with Callum from Plush Bear to revisit the shelter and the greyhounds we had their at the time and to also vist the meat markets and greyhound race tracks .We also met up with Elite Greyhound Rescue as they were helping us at the time taking Candy Cane dogs. We arrived at one meat market and there was a truck full of dogs. Elite took the dogs from the truck and eventually rehomed them in the States and we took Peanut and Callamall now called Teady. Peanut broke my heart because she kept pawing at me from the truck to get out. She was so desperate for human company and reassurance. Both girls are now in an amazing homes in the UK.
