What a great night we had at club last night with our 3rd annual quiz! There was plenty of lovely food, we had 9 really great raffle prizes, lots of laughs and to top it all our two candy cane club dogs were there; Cassie and little Flora who has just gone through the life saving surgery.
The winning team, successfully defending their title from last year was DENSA; well done to you!
We were hoping to exceed our amount of £455 last year, so here is the breakdown……..
the bottle of whiskey game raised £50
the green donation box raised £179
the raffle raised £305
the ticket sales raised £205
making a grand total of……
£739!!!!!!!!!!!
What a fantastic effort; thank you to everyone. we also have the refreshments donation box to count, so that will be a bit more.
I would like to say a huge thank you to firstly Jayne, quiz mistress extraordinaire and Caroline for compiling and running the quiz; they put a huge amount of work into it. They also supply the prizes of Pets at home vouchers.
