Phenomenal Australian bred greyhound is now one of the biggest studs in China. In a year the breeders profit £33,000 from loaning him out for breeding and if we wanted to save him he is over £60,000. He will never get out of China with this price tag on him and he will be passed around and bred and bred from. We were offered him to breed from when we inquired about him. Just heartbreaking for him. On the data base in China we found just over 700 Australian Greyhounds that have been sent there for breeding. The racing industry in China is a monster and having just one centre for some imported dogs isn’t going to help the dogs .Just this week we have taken 13 greyhounds from the meat trade because they were sold once they stopped racing.
