The 9 dogs we rescued from the shelter yesterday are so so poorly 😞 So upset for them. This is what happens when shelters rescue dogs hundreds at a time but they don’t get a vet care and decent food.They fight each other, they get infections and diseases and probably suffer more long term than they would if they were killed at a slaughter house for meat. The vets have brought extra staff to care for the dogs and the head vet stayed with the dogs over night and she’s still there now sending me updates.
