It’s not easy to capture just how stunning Omar truly is in a photo because he’s always so energetic and never stays still for long! But you can see the happiness radiating from him now that he’s in the UK. After everything he’s been through, he’s finally living his best life, and it shows in the way he interacts with everyone around him.
Omar is around 4 years old and is such a delightful dog! He’s smaller than a Greyhound but bigger than a Whippet, with a sleek and elegant build. He’s playful, full of energy, and absolutely loves being pampered. Whether it’s playing with his toys, getting a good grooming session, or just being around people, Omar is in his element. He’s incredibly affectionate and has a heart full of love to give. He is house-trained and behaves wonderfully indoors. When it comes to other dogs, he’s very friendly and gets along well with them, though he hasn’t been tested with cats yet.
Omar is still a little shy around new people, and that’s completely understandable. His world has been very small for the last few years as he spent a lot of time in kennels in China, where he didn’t have much opportunity to meet new people or experience the wider world. However, his confidence is growing every day, and he’s starting to enjoy new experiences, like going on walks, which he’s going to begin this week. These walks will help him come out of his shell even more, and he’s already showing signs of becoming more comfortable with new surroundings and people.
He’s a very special dog who just needs a little patience and love to continue flourishing. Omar’s ideal home is one where he can continue to feel secure and happy, with people who are ready to give him the care and attention he deserves. He’s a true joy to be around, and with time, he will make a wonderful companion for the right person or family.
