Some really sad news news Last year on my first trip to China I met an Old Greyhound Girl at least 12 years old living in a shelter.The shelter was horrific and we got all the dogs out and demolished it so no dog would ever be living there again.
Minnie was adopted by one of out team member Jane.Sadly a couple of days ago Minnie’s body just gave up.The vets think she had cancer.She had just over 12 months in her forever home but she got to be loved and felt truly safe and comfortable.
Her momma said Minnie never ever asked for anything. Such a gentle girl who could stand her ground with other hounds, even though she lived up to her name .. very small for a greyhound!
