Dandi

Hi, I’m Dandi.

When I came back to my people after a few months away, they were so happy to see me. I’d heard they’d been told I’d changed, but honestly? I’m still the same sweet, gentle boy I’ve always been—maybe even happier now.

My life started far away. I was rescued from the dog meat trade in China, and because of Covid, I had to wait four whole years before I could finally leave. But now, I’m safe, loved, and living my best life.

I’m told I’m “an absolute delight.” I’m calm most of the time, but before walks—my absolute favourite part of the day—I get bursts of excitement. I also love spending time in the garden, sniffing around and relaxing on the sun lounger.

I get along really well with the three small dogs and the children in my foster home. I’m very focused on my humans—happy to curl up on the sofa for cuddles, but also fine entertaining myself. I’m polite with food, take treats gently, and usually eat later in the day.

On walks, I’m very good—though I might chat a bit to passing dogs or cats. If you reassure me, I’ll happily carry on with my adventure.

Everyone says I’m charming, loving, and incredibly gentle. I think they’re right.

Right now, I’m in foster care in North Lincolnshire. If you think we might be a match, you can WhatsApp Kerry on 07572 296780 (10am–6pm)
