This gorgeous boy has come such a long way — from a broken, deflated soul in China to a proud, confident, and happy lad. His transformation has been truly incredible… and now he definitely thinks he rules the place!
His coat is absolutely stunning now, and he’s filled out beautifully — such a handsome boy!
Abu is a gentle, loving Greyhound who can happily live with children and other dogs, though no cats, please.
He’s currently in foster with me in North Lincolnshire, so anyone interested must be willing to travel to meet him.
Abu’s story is sadly all too common — he was once raced on the tracks in China before being sold to a butcher for meat. Thankfully, he was rescued and now enjoys every moment of his second chance at life.
He’s not a big lad (definitely a Greyhound, not a Whippet), and he loves his home comforts — his bed, his food, and his walks. Even after losing over 25 teeth during his dental, he still eats like a champ! He adores being groomed and is full of joy every morning — it’s as if he still can’t believe how much his life has changed.
We’ll be sharing more photos soon to show off his gorgeous coat and how truly handsome he’s become. These pictures capture his lovely personality — he really is something special.
Oh, and let’s not forget… he’s a rare black Greyhound — everyone loves one of those, so he won’t be waiting long!
