Elite Greyhound Adoptions South FL partners with Candy Cane Rescue, a UK-based organization. CCR rescues dogs in China meat markets, slaughter houses, and even off trucks. The dogs are rehabilitated with CCR’s Chinese partners on the ground, animal rescues and advocates in their own right. The dogs are then transported to rescues in the USA and Europe.

Elite is a partner rescue and has taken China dog meat trade survivors under its protection. The dogs are lovingly cared for at Elite and, once adopted, by their new families.

Sonia Healy Stratemann, founder of Elite, will be on hand with survivors you can hug––they love hugs! Sonia will be joined by her partners from The Flying Dog Foundation, also dedicated to helping meat trade survivors.
